Paseos opcionales desde Las Cañadas

Desde la Estancia Gaucha «Las Cañadas», podrás conocer lugares, que sólo son accesibles desde allí. Esto se debe a que se encuentran lejos de todo. La Estancia tiene un sistema de picnic, que te hace posible hacer el descubrimiento de esta zona del Uruguay Profundo. Visitas por el día, desde una ruta Charrúa, conocer la represa de Rincón del Bonete, con sus playas de arenas, o Paso de los toros , nudo ferroviario y donde se localiza la única iglesia gótica en el interior del país, también podrás conocer las rutas de guaraníes, las Termas de Almirón.  Para aquellos que gustan de la historia de nuestro país, cerca de Las Cañadas, está donde fue la batalla de «Tres Árboles», la hecatombe de quinteros, o Tiatucura, pueblo emblemático donde fueron muertos indios charrúas.

Around the Estancia Gaucha Las Cañadas, you are able to visit places which are only accessible from there.  This is due to they are far from main towns.  The Estancia has a picnic system which makes it possible for you to discover this rural area of the deep Uruguay.  Visits for the day, from a Charrúa route, visit the Rincón del Bonete dam with its sandy beaches, or Paso de los Toros, railway junction and where you are able to see the only Gothic Church located inside the country, also you can visit the Guarani routes, and the Almiron Hot Springs.  For those who likes the Uruguayan history, you will find, near the Estancia, the site where the battle of «Tres Arboles» happened, the hecatomb of quinteros, or Tiatucura, an emblematic town where Charrúas and Indians were killed.
